The roses were partly in the shade and hard to photograph due to the lighting. The pictures do not do them justice.
Roses have to be one of the most beautiful flowers don't you think? (Of course I say that about all flowers.)
Although the roses stole the show, there were some other flowers in the garden, too.
I have never had much luck with roses myself, but this garden made me want to try my luck again. Maybe one day I will......

They are lovely! Try knockout roses as they are so WONDERFUL! I was picking a few in my garden and they even smell good. No diseases or spraying and no skill required. I'm sold-can you tell?

roses are difficult, but not if you get the ones who can
be neglected. there are some very resilient strains who
bloom at least twice, may and october.
'keep flowing' was pretty funny. :)

The bouquet is lovely. I agree with you, roses have to be the most perfect flower. I always marvel when I see photos of southern rose bushes. Up here they never get that tall.

Those rose are gorgeous! I'm not a big fan of knockout roses although they are beautiful, and do bloom forever. I'm like my grandmother, we both love the antique roses!
