Getting Better!

Carson has been sick with the flu for several days now and I have not taken the time to post. She is getting better by the day and has even mentioned being bored today! That is usually a sign that she is on the mend...thankfully, just in time for our weekend trip to Nashville. This little country music loving girl has been wanting to go check it out for some time and we finally planned our trip. I was afraid that we may have to cancel. (not a good thing since we had already purchased some tickets to the Grand Ole Opry) Hopefully, if the good Lord is willing, we will make it to Music City! I'll be sure to blog about it when I am home!

If any of my blogging friends have any music connections in Nashville let me know. She would love to talk to someone who could give her some advice on the music business!!

What a beautiful girl you have, and how wonderful to be able to play the guitar. I hope she recovers quickly and have fun on your trip!

I don't have a connection in Nashville but I did go to the Grand Ol Opry with my parents when I was nine years old. I have a photo of me, with my sisters, on the steps of the old Opry House. Hope that Carson is completely recovered and enjoys her visit. She's a very pretty young lady that would be a welcome sight on stage!!

Best,
Bonnie

Have a great trip! It would be so nice to meet you so if you have the time email me and maybe we could meet for lunch or something if you are not too busy! This weekend will be very nice here in Nashville. The Country Music Hall of Fame is also an excellent must see. Drive safe and I'm glad Carson is on the mend!

I hope that Carson is better to enjoy the trip. My uncle is a sheriff in Franklin about 25 miles south of Nashville. I know he does security work for the singers, not sure if he has any connections. I am going to email him tonight and ask. I'll let you know. I'll find out if my other uncle knows anyone too. I have lots of relatives in TN.

Praying you have a wonderful trip and do find someone who has connections. Do they do a tour of the opera house? I was wondering if they allow folks to go stand on stage. That would make an awesome photo shoot.

Have fun!

Have a fun time! I imagine Nashville as so exotic - I do hope you get to see Lyle Lovett... my favorite. ;)

Thanks for popping by yesterday. As you know, I haven't been posting much these past few months, and I have so missed everyone.

I'm glad your daughter is feeling better and that y'all are able to take your trip. As one who enjoys country music, I think a trip to the Grand Ole Opry sounds fabulous. Can't wait to hear about it after you return.

Blessings,
Patti

She's just so lovely - hope very much that she'll be feeling well for the trip and that you all have a fabulous weekend.

Sorry, don't know anyone there, but I have a feeling she'll bump into someone who will be only to happy to chat and share music business secrets!

Safe travels, Mary.
