Thank God For My Mom and Dad

During this week of thankfulness I must stop to thank God for my wonderful parents. Growing up we did not have a lot of money, however, we had enough love to last throughout eternity. My mom and dad have always been my biggest supporters in all that I have done. My mom always looks for the best in others and never says an unkind word about anyone. My dad is the quiet type who is always the first to lend a hand when someone is in need. I am fortunate to live close enough to spend a lot of time with them. I am so thankful that God has blessed me with such great examples.

They are still a cute couple, don't you think?

They are a cut couple and they look young, too. You are lucky to have both parents still with you.

What a wonderful thing to have such parents ... and to live nearby. I would guess that you are much like them, Carla; it's easy to see through your blog. :)

They truly are adorable! Lucky you to have them close by, and for the girls to have grandparents in their lives.......bet they play beautiful music for them.

Even though I left home at a young age for adventure and the chance of a year in the US (which of course has now become 48 years!), I always missed the closeness of my parents. I traveled home as often as possible - hard in the early years with young children when money was very tight - and then brought them here to visit aften......but still missed them so much. Now they've gone and I would love to have them back again. Be sure to spend time with yours.

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving Carla.
Fondly, Mary
