The temperatures have been in the sixties this week. It is so wonderful to have these mild days after so many unusually cold days this winter. Since the last couple of days have been wet and have kept me inside, I thought I might take some time today to post pictures of the plants that have bloomed over the last couple of weeks in my little world.
The crocuses were the first to appear a couple of weeks ago. They are still very pretty.
Finally, the hellebores decided to make an appearance.
Last, but not least, the daffodils showed their sunny little heads.
I can't wait to see what next week brings! This is my favorite time of the year when everything comes back to life. I'm thinking my winter daphne will be in full bloom soon. It has opened up some and the scent is starting to float through the air. I'll post a picture as soon as it is completely in bloom. Have a wonderful weekend and a very Happy Friday!

That white hellebore may be the prettiest one I've seen. Until now I liked the darker ones best (like your second photo). I just love those purple freckles:)

Such gorgeous flowers!!! What a joy to see these - we still have icicles and snow. :)
Happy Friday!

Such beautiful blooms! I've never seen or heard of the hellebore; but it is so very pretty. Daphne is new to me, too, so I'll be looking for a pic. The brilliant colors of the crocuses and daffodils are so cheerful! About your previous post . . . I didn't have a clue. I have never seen a mole or shrew or vole, either! So, I'm learning lots from your posts!
I need to buy some hellebore, it would be nice to see a different spring bloomer! Love the colors of all of them. Have you gotten the rain yet? Hopefully next week will present more sunshine for us!
I love those purple crocus. The white Hellebore too, with those swatches of wine-colored speckles.
