Rainy Day
We finally had some much needed rain today. One of my favorite things to do on a rainy day is to just sit and watch the raindrops splash on the pond. What do you like to do on a rainy day?
If I'm home, I love to work in my craft room upstairs because I can hear the rain on the roof or I like to read in the family room because of the same thing.
You certainly have a gorgeous spot to watch the rain!
Your sitting spot looks most relaxing and inviting-even in the rain. I usually sit on my porch and watch and listen to the rain. One of my favorite sounds is the rain. So glad you got some.
I enjoy a rainy day and always have since childhood when I would sit on my Grandmothers front porch and listen to the thunder and be in awe of the lighting as a passing storm would roll by. Thanks for reminding of sweet memories, Carla
hugs and happiness, Pam
note, thanks for stopping by my new blog and the kind comment and joining :D
I love to sit on the porch and read a book on a rainy day. In fact, I like to do most anything as I enjoy rainy days. I love your previous photo of the mountains with fall arriving.
I guess I best love a rainy day, since tis the season here in the PNW. But yes, I do love the rain, and like the fact that you take the time to stop and enjoy it. Precious moments and quiet time that feeds ones soul.

I love the sound of rain on our metal roof especially when lying in bed.

ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely view. On rainy days I love working on projects indoors.
ReplyDeleteWe've had rain this morning already and I haven't checked to see what is predicted the rest of the day.
Enjoy your day ~ FlowerLady

Gorgeous view. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteOn a rainy day, I like to read, craft or bake. But today is sunny, so I'll be helping Hubby build a shed. :)
Have a happy one, Carla!

Zuzu
SO beautiful. You just sit right there, sweet queen of the South! xoxo

These cooler rainy days are lovely aren't they? I'm pretty sure I can hear the gardens sigh in relief after this summer. :)

ReplyDeleteI love to sew on a rainy day ♥
ReplyDeleteYour view is awesome! During the rain, I like to be in the sunroom with my kitties on my lap and find an old Classic Movie to watch...
ReplyDeleteI like to watch the rain, too - or read a good book by the window. Sometimes a nap is good, too!
