God is in the little things too!
If you've read my previous post you know how busy I have been. Lately, I have had a hard time keeping up with all of the things going on in my life. I have even let a few things fall to the wayside. In my busyness, I allowed my subscription to BHG expire. I know that is not a big thing, however, I do love my magazines. Imagine my surprise when reading one of my favorite gardening blogs I find out that I was the winner of a subscription to that very magazine. I do believe that God is involved in the little things in our lives. Thank you so much Freda. I know I will enjoy it. If any of you have not visited her, you should. She always has great information on gardening and plant varieties. She has even been featured in Southern Living magazine. Wishing you all a wonderful vacation weekend.
I try to read my magazines at night, but wind up falling asleep! Life is very busy this year. Winning a magazine subscription is great...and now I'm off to visit Freda.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great Memorial Day weekend!

Carla, I could not agree with you more. I highly doubt it was a coincidence that you won the subscription to BH&G!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the sweet comment you left for me. I appreciate your thoughts and prayers :) Have fun with your girls this summer!

Good for you! What a sweet blessing - and reminder that God IS involved in even the "little things" in our lives.
ReplyDeleteWell that win was most fortuitous for you. Congrats!
ReplyDeleteCongratulation on your win! Enjoy the weekend!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you're getting the magazine, Carla. I sure would love to see a new picture of the outside of your southern home dressed up in flowers and garden attire!
ReplyDeleteThinking of you! xo
What a thrill. I was praying about something on the weekend and things did not work out as I wished but the day after I found to my surprise that the way things actually worked out was for the better ... I should not have been surprised.
ReplyDeleteI love that God is interested in the little things of our lives. Sometimes it's no little to us, but may look that way to others. BHG is too good to miss!
ReplyDeleteI'm a new GFC follower...came here from somewhere--not sure where--I'm just wandering. I feel like I can smell your flowers.
Blessings,
Pamela
Carla, GOD truly is in the little things as well as the biggies, I firmly belive that. I believe life gets way out of control and we fail to see it. spectacular photo of your flowers, remindes me of soft pink tissue paper.
ReplyDeletePraying your days will be smooth sailing.
I so agree that God is interested in the detail of our lives! That's good to know!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by! Hope things are well with you and your family.
How nice that you won the subscription, and that you're doing so well!
ReplyDeleteMy little 85 yr old aunt says God is full of surprises. This iPad has spoiled me so much I don't have time to read mags.
