Busy Times

Although the weather has been a bit cooler around here, spring is still springing!

We have been super busy with activity and blogging has been on the back burner. Carson has been back in the studio working on a full band production of two of her songs. Catie has been very busy with her senior project and work. Although we have been busy, it seems that we are also in waiting mode...waiting for college admission letters...waiting for the cd to come together...and waiting for the weather to warm just a little more for planting season. Have you ever heard the old saying, 'hurry up and wait'? Well that totally applies to us at the moment. Maybe it won't last too long!

Beautiful color peeking through the deadness! Waiting is so hard, isn't it? But it won't last forever! Thinking of and praying for you. . .

LOL, yes, it's been a while since I heard that... hurry up and wait :)
I didn't realize the clocks go forward this weekend... Spring is definitely here in TX I think.

Waiting, sigh. I know this well. Congrats to Carson for being back in the studio. We took her demo with us to Alabama and all listened to it in the car (Jimmy had already listened to it). We were all QUITE impressed. Best of luck to her and to Catie on college admissions.

I hope that your wait is a short one. I am jealous though, still have snow and ice here. I wonder if I will ever thaw out. Love the little crocus poking it's head out. Good luck to Carson!

What an exciting time for your girls. I didn't realize your eldest was a senior. It seems such a short time ago that there were big baskets filled with college literature and now our boys have graduated--from college and beyond. I feel that I should soon ask for an autograph from Carson so that I can say I knew her when she was making her first cds ....! Enjoy these days.

Best,
Bonnie

I was thinking this morning as I was wishing days away that I should slow down and enjoy instead of wanting something else ... so yes I totally relate to the hurry up and wait idea.

"The hurrier I go, the behinder I get!" Not bad, either. ;) Hugs Carla!

will you please let us hear the final songs? i can't wait,
as i am hopelessly addicted to their generation's music.

also, how are you holding up, mom, with your first about
to graduate? i was a basket case . . .

Oh, girl...I think I am the poster child for "hurry up and wait". LOL It does sound, though, as if y'all have some wonderful things to be waiting upon!

I was just thinking this morning about the decades in my life. Ages 10, 20, 30, 40, 50... where did the time go? But it's so true - when you are waiting to get to "the next place", it can seem like forever!

Wishing you all a lovely weekend,
Zuzu

It's always encouraging to see those first splashes of colour growing up through in spring :)

(Hope you can join in the St Patricks Blog Carnival)

Enjoy these busy times being a good mommy! My hubby works with the Government so “Hurry Up and Wait” is a daily phrase around here.
